LTL Holdings has launched a nationwide relief program to support families affected by recent severe weather, pledging both immediate assistance and long-term rehabilitation under a new initiative titled “LTL Humanity.”

The company said the program will be implemented in two phases, beginning with emergency aid.

During the first phase, 15,000 food parcels and other essential items will be distributed to affected households over a two-week period.

LTL Holdings has allocated more than Rs. 100 million for this initial effort, which includes basic food supplies, hygiene kits and equipment to help families prepare meals at home.

The second phase of the initiative will focus on long-term recovery in communities hit hardest by flooding and related disruptions.

Planned projects include building homes for displaced families, repairing and rebuilding schools and children’s hospitals, and restoring essential services such as electricity.

According to the company, the program is being carried out in partnership with national media outlets, youth and women’s groups, community-based organisations and volunteer networks to ensure efficient and well-coordinated delivery of assistance.

CEO Nuhuman Marikkar said the initiative aims not only to address urgent needs but to support the broader recovery of affected communities.

“Our aim is to rebuild infrastructure and restore normalcy through a structured, phased approach,” he said.
