LTL Holdings, one of Sri Lanka’s foremost engineering companies specializing in power sector services, has stepped up its humanitarian support following recent floods and natural disaste
LTL Holdings’ ongoing disaster relief programme, “LTL Humanity”, has been operating since the onset of the crisis to address the immediate needs of affected communities and support the rebuilding of lives.
As part of the initiative, the company has distributed 17,000 dry ration packs to households, with another 1,000 packs ready for dispatch.
Furthermore, essential household kits, including bedding, mats, and other daily necessities, have been provided to 250 households, with 600 more kits being prepared for rapid deployment to families displaced by the floods.
“The LTL Humanity programme is designed to offer direct, tangible assistance to affected communities, helping them restore daily routines and rebuild their homes,” the company said in a statement.
The company has also been providing clear guidance to the public on safely restoring electricity to homes affected by the flooding, ensuring essential power services are reinstated without risk.
LTL Holdings remains committed to harnessing all available resources to support disaster-affected communities, combining its core responsibility of restoring electricity with its broader humanitarian mission.
The company extended gratitude to all partners and stakeholders who have supported the initiative, adding that “LTL Humanity” will continue its efforts until affected communities are fully back on their feet.
