Former president heads to London to go ‘Head to Head’ with Mehdi Hassan

Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe left for London yesterday (03) on a private visit.

Mr. Wickremesinghe is scheduled to participate in an interview on Al Jazeera hosted by renowned media personality Mehdi Hasan on February 05.

The former president will express his views on the measures taken to revive Sri Lanka’s bankrupt economy, progress in combating corruption and human rights violations as well as his experiences as Prime Minister during the Easter attacks.

It is reported that Mr. Wickremesinghe will remain in London for nearly ten days.
