Milinda Moragoda meets Australian High Commissioner-Designate

Founder of the Pathfinder Foundation, Milinda Moragoda, held a meeting with the Australian High Commissioner-designate to Sri Lanka, Matthew Duckworth, in Colombo recently.

The meeting, which also included Acting High Commissioner of Australia in Sri Lanka Lalita Kapur and Chairman of the Pathfinder Foundation Bernard Goonetilleke, focused on the Pathfinder Foundation’s wide-ranging engagements across development, policy, and social sectors.

Moragoda briefed the delegation on the Foundation’s current projects and expressed hope that the Australian High Commission would continue to support and engage with its initiatives.

High Commissioner-designate Duckworth, an experienced diplomat with previous postings in Indonesia and Cambodia, is expected to play a key role in furthering Australia-Sri Lanka relations during his tenure.

The discussion underscored mutual interest in strengthening partnerships for sustainable development and regional cooperation.
