Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Sujeewa Senasinghe said that Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa will contest the next Presidential Election in Sri Lanka.
Speaking in a televised interview, Senasinghe pledged his full support for Premadasa.
“I previously pledged my support only for two elections. But Premadasa faced some setbacks in the last two elections. Therefore, for fairness and taking into account the current opposition landscape, he has been recognized as suitable to contest,” Senasinghe added.
