Opening batter Tanzid Hasan Tamim hammered 73 runs from 47 balls on Wednesday to help Bangladesh chase down the target of 133 runs in 16.2 overs and win the third and final T20I of the three-match series against Sri Lanka by 8 wickets.
In the series decider played at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka, after opting to bat first, they could only manage to post a total of 132 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Pathum Nissanka scored 46 runs from 39 balls, and Dasun Shanaka remained unbeaten on 35 runs from 25 balls.
The target of 133 runs was easily chased down by the visitors. For them, Mehidy Hasan Miraz picked up 4 wickets for 11 runs in four overs.
