10 to 15 scheduled trains get cancelled every day

Between 10 and 15 scheduled trains get cancelled every day due to a shortage of staff and resources, said railways general manager Ravindra Padmapriya.

Locomotive drivers are to be recruited next year, but it will take three years for them to be trained and on service, he said.
