2 judges in a court case against govt. minister given transfers

Two judges in a court case in connection with the illegal acquisition of a building by a government minister have been given transfers, SJB’s Mujibur Rahman told parliament yesterday (24).

Police are yet to enforce two orders issued by the Mt. Lavinia magistrate to arrest the accused.

Rahman noted the female judge who ordered the arrest of former president Ranil Wickremesinghe has been given a promotion.
