The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), along with the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD), is actively seeking to arrest three high-profile individuals linked to ongoing corruption investigations.

The individuals named include former Minister Rajitha Senaratne and former Member of Parliament Venerable Athuraliye Rathana Thera.

Authorities are also searching for Thusitha Halloluwa, a former Director of the National Lotteries Board and the one-time Director General of Public Relations for former President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

CIABOC has been investigating Senaratne for over a month in connection with an alleged corruption case during his tenure as Fisheries Minister. Despite several efforts, authorities have failed to trace his whereabouts.

Meanwhile, the CCD has also been conducting parallel operations for several days to apprehend Rathana Thera and Halloluwa.

However, both individuals remain unaccounted for.
