The Centre for Policy Alternatives (CPA) is launching an “Alternative Education Course for Social Activists (Reformers).

Through this initiative, CPA aims to empower individuals with enhanced critical thinking and analytical skills to generate and present well-informed policy positions and proposals to decision-makers, thereby strengthening civil society for result oriented advocacy.

The course will feature a blend of residential lectures, practical activities, fieldwork, and online sessions. It is completely free and open to all Sri Lankan citizens. Additionally, participants will have opportunities to collaborate with fellow social activists (reformers) across various fields, enhancing their impact within and outside their communities.

An independent, nonpartisan organization focused primarily on issues related to governance and conflict resolution, CPA is committed to research and advocacy programs that critically examine public policies, propose alternatives, and disseminate them to build a better political culture and social environment.
