Postal workers launch token strike

The Union of Post and Telecommunication Officers has announced that postal workers across the country have launched a token strike from midnight yesterday (28).

Chairman of the union, G.G.C. Niroshana, said the strike was launched based on several demands including the filling vacancies and over issues surrounding salary increments.
