Countries will never encourage their citizens to tour Sri Lanka when its president summons foreign diplomats to brief them on the island’s downfall, said Sarvajana Balaya leader Dilith Jayaweera.

The president should have resolved issued covertly if he had an entrepreneurial mentality without letting the whole world know about the country’s woes, Jayaweera said at a public rally in Ja Ela.

International media is invited to witness the bringing back of arrested underworld figures, he said, adding such a situation would encourage only the cheap foreigners to visit the country. They will be the next headache to the country after the underworld, added the Sarvajana Balaya leader.
