Sri Lanka’s doctors to launch island-wide strike on Monday

The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) has announced an island-wide strike set to begin at 8:00 a.m. on Monday (25).

The GMOA made the announcement at a press briefing on Saturday.

The strike has been planned based on several demands, including issues related to the medical officer transfer process.
