Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa today (23) paid a visit to fellow former President Ranil Wickremesinghe, who is currently receiving treatment at the Magazine New Remand Prison Hospital after being remanded by court.
Earlier in the day, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa also visited the former president to check on his well-being, emphasising that his medical needs must be properly addressed.
Wickremesinghe was admitted to the prison hospital late last night.
