Al promises in the policy manifesto cannot be fulfilled at once, said prime minister Harini Amarasuriya, noting that society’s requirements at the moment are being prioritized.

Responding to a question raised in parliament, she said that general ideas of the manifesto were elimination of poverty, digitalization, rule of law, equality before the law, elimination of drugs, national unity and democracy.

Priorities are being decided in consideration of the situation, added Dr. Amarasuriya.
