ACCA and CMA Sri Lanka renew MoU

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (CMA) of Sri Lanka have reaffirmed their collaboration through the renewal of their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

This comes after the two entities signed the MOU the first time in November 2024.

The latest strategic partnership is aimed at advancing the proficiency of finance and management accounting professionals in Sri Lanka,.

The alliance aims to provide members resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities to adeptly manage the evolving realms of finance, technology, and international business trends.

CMA Sri Lanka president Lakshman R. Watawala said: “Our MOU renewal reflects our collective commitment to equipping Sri Lankan management accounting professionals to further enhance their global skills and expertise, offering the agility to thrive in an increasingly interconnected and competitive world.

“Through this collaboration, we aim to ensure that our professionals are not only future-ready but also equipped to lead in the global marketplace.”
