A seminar organized by the Frontline Socialist Party (FSP) titled “Is India the Big Brother?” was held at the Colombo Foundation Institute recently.

At the seminar, Propaganda Secretary of the FSP Duminda Nagamuva revealed many shocking facts.

He stated that India is planning to take over all the major ports and airports in Sri Lanka.

Pointing out that 5000 members of India’s external intelligence arm, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), are currently operating in Sri Lanka, he said that the recent Indian agenda is in the nature of a predatory project to acquire Sri Lanka’s oceans, lands, ports and airports as well as its energy resources.

“President Anura Kumara Dissanayake visited India between December 15-17. During this visit, some agreements were discussed with India, but the government told the media that they were not final agreements.

However, Vijitha Herath later told the Sunday Times that it was agreed during these discussions to award the contract related to the digital ID to an Indian company.

We also accept that Sri Lanka, as a country, needs to maintain economic and political relations with India as well as with other countries.

But those transactions should not be detrimental to the independence and sovereignty of the country.

At this time, India is executing a strategy to emerge as an economic power in the world.

According to that strategy, India wants to gain geopolitical and economic power in the Asian region.

Sri Lanka should not become a victim of that plan.

Some say that India is a country with a large economy. Therefore, it is in our interest to have India support us.

But this game doesn’t stop there as India is getting ready to strangle us little by little.”
