The past few days gave way to news reports regarding a new political alliance about to be formed by the leadership of the party that has a hand as their election symbol.
But now it seems there is a spanner in the works in this endeavour.
Apparently, the reason for this is a leadership issue.
While there are some senior leaders from other parties in this alliance, a certain leader from the North Western Province urges that he wants the top chair in the alliance for himself.
The other parties in the alliance however are disappointed as a result.
There is also a person holding a top post in that party behind this conspiracy.
It is rumoured that he drafted this plan for the leadership issue and is now playing dead amid this hullabaloo.
