The Sarvajana Balaya would contest all 331 electoral divisions in the upcoming local government elections, its leader entrepreneur Dilith Jayaweera said.
Addressing a press briefing on Thursday (02), Jayaweera welcomed citizens with nationalist ideals and a commitment to combating corruption to join the party as candidates for the upcoming election.
Noting that the party is open to anyone interested in grassroots politics, Jayaweera extended an invitation to academics, professionals, entrepreneurs, and anyone with an understanding of grassroots-level realities to join them if they support the party’s nationalist policies.
