SJB needs new leadership – Navin

Former Minister Navin Dissanayake has called for a change in leadership within the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), asserting that the party must re-evaluate its direction in the wake of recent electoral defeats.

He noted that the SJB is home to a number of capable individuals who are well-equipped to take the reins of party leadership.

Drawing a comparison with his own experience in the United National Party (UNP), Dissanayake acknowledged that during the UNP’s electoral setbacks, both Ranil Wickremesinghe and other senior figures, including himself, bore the weight of responsibility.
