Minister Sunil Handunnetti has vowed to send the Rajapaksas and Ranil Wickremesinghe behind bars over numerous frauds.

He told parliament the court case into the sugar import tariff fraud, over a complaint made by him, would continue.

Also included are frauds over garlic, rice and milch cow imports, while some swindled from expressway constructions, said the minister.

“A state of thievery prevailed. The bond fraudsters should be sent to prison. The justice minister should say the Rajapaksas and Ranil will be sent to prison.”

“I am saying that. I am also saying the properties with the paramours of the ministers’ drivers too, should be investigated,” he added.
