March 6 LG polls: EC receives 200 complaints in 10 days

The Election Commission has reported receiving approximately 200 complaints related to the local government polls so far.

These complaints were lodged during the 10-day period from March 20 to March 30, according to the Commission.

Among them, one complaint was related to acts of violence, while 179 complaints were concerning violations of election laws.

The Commission further stated that around 150 complaints have already been resolved, while action is being taken to address the remaining 50 cases.
