Not every family can afford a vehicle, concedes NPP MP

National List MP of the National People’s Power (NPP) Lakmali Hemachandra stated that not every family in Sri Lanka can afford a vehicle.

Participating in a political talk show, she pointed out that this time, vehicles were imported with taxes imposed in a manner aimed at protecting Sri Lanka’s foreign reserves.

She also noted that not everyone in Sri Lanka has the need to purchase cars.
