National People’s Power (NPP) MP Jagath Manuwarana told Parliament today (10) that the government’s performance has not fully met expectations.

“We have not been able to fulfil every expectation, but it is not an issue as there is time to gain achievements. Also, the people are not in a hurry for reforms,” Manuwarna said.

He added that the party would “wait and see how our government will perform next year,” reflecting cautious optimism within the ruling ranks amid lingering concerns over policy execution and the pace of reforms.
