GMOA raises concerns about outside interventions

The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) has raised concerns over outside interventions in their transfers of late.

Noting that the process of transfers had taken place, until recently, in a transparent manner without any involvement, political or otherwise, the GMOA points out that attempts by certain Health Ministry officials to go against that process have resulted in a delay of several months in the announcement of the transfer list for 2025.

More than 5,000 doctors have been adversely affected by that, said the GMOA.
