Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has officially announced that the sixth edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) will take place from 27 November to 23 December 2025, providing a critical lead-up to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup scheduled for 2026.

The month-long tournament will be staged across Colombo, Pallekele, and Dambulla.

Now firmly established as the island’s premier franchise-based tournament, the LPL continues to attract top local and international talent.

With its growing reputation, the 2025 edition is expected to be a key platform for selectors and players alike in the run-up to the World Cup.
