Rajapaksa family also under investigation, says Bimal Rathnayake

Sri Lanka’s Transport, Highways, Ports and Civil Aviation Minister Bimal Rathnayake said on Sunday (25) that ongoing investigations into corruption and financial misconduct are not limited to former President Ranil Wickremesinghe, but also include members of the Rajapaksa family.

Speaking to the media, Rathnayake asserted that legal action would proceed regardless of political status or past office, emphasising that “no one is above the law.”
