US took its decision; We should take ours – Handunnetti

The United States takes its own political decisions, whereas we should take ours on behalf of our people, said industries minister Sunil Handunnetti.

Addressing a public rally, he said we should react to the US decision, but not that we can declare war against it.

“We should safeguard our economy. To safeguard our economy, we need the help of neighbouring India.”

“With India’s population, opening up of just one per cent is a big opportunity for us,” added the minister.
