The Sri Lankan government is planning to introduce a new social media platform aimed at empowering young people to express their views online, said National People’s Power (NPP) MP Thanuja Dissanayaka.

Speaking in Parliament, Dissanayaka explained that the new mobile application will provide an opportunity for young people to share their opinions, offering a fresh alternative to established platforms like Facebook and YouTube.

The app is expected to foster open dialogue among youth, allowing them to engage in discussions and express their thoughts freely on social media.
