Sri Lanka’s first hospital-based sperm bank has been established at the Castle Street Hospital for Women in Colombo, marking a significant milestone in reproductive healthcare.

This initiative aims to help infertile women conceive while ensuring complete confidentiality and privacy.

The donation process is designed to be straightforward, requiring donors to undergo only a few medical tests.

Additionally, the identity of sperm donors will remain strictly anonymous, ensuring privacy for all parties involved.
