Sri Lankan designer Chathuri Samaraweera has made history by becoming the first from her country to present a collection at Paris Fashion Week, one of the most prestigious events in the global fashion calendar.

Samaraweera’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, titled ‘Balearic Dreaming’, captivated audiences at an official sideline show held at the elegant Hotel Le Marois in Paris.

Inspired by the enchanting Balearic Islands, the collection features a dreamy palette of soft blues, rose-golds, and vivid aquatic hues, masterfully blending them into timeless womenswear pieces.
