MP Chamara Sampath Dassanayake has stated that, along with the Batalanda Commission Report, three other commission reports should be tabled in Parliament.

Noting that one of these is the Report of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into the assassination of Mr. Vijaya Kumaratunga, he said that he will present these reports in the coming days.

Dassanayake also alleged that 16 organisers and 6,300 party members of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) were killed in 1989.

He further emphasized that a commission should be appointed and a discussion initiated on this matter.
