Minister of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development Sunil Handunnetti says that true political change in the country cannot be achieved by the interest shown by President Anura Dissanayake or the Cabinet alone.

He pointed out that unless the bureaucratic system within the state service is reformed, efforts at political transformation at higher levels will be futile.

Speaking at a public event in the Matara district, Handunnetti explained that the desire for change must extend beyond the leadership, reaching every level of the state service.

He stressed that the interests of both the President and the Cabinet should resonate with every government employee to bring about meaningful change.

He also highlighted the importance of collective effort, urging all citizens to actively engage in the process of reform.
