Deputy Minister of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development Chathuranga Abeysinghe has rejected allegations that the National People’s Power lied to obtain power.

The basis for obtaining power was the policy manifesto, which was placed before the people and it is still very much valid, he said.

However, he noted that it will not be possible to implement everything stated in the policy manifesto through the budget.

The Deputy Minister made these remarks after calling on the chief prelates of Malwatte and Asgiriya chapters.
