A reduced vote of between 35 or 40 per cent for the National People’s Power (NPP) at the upcoming local government polls will destabilize the government, said political critic Vipula Karunatilake.

Taking part in a dialogue for ‘Ideas Front’ YouTube channel, he said the present administration too would be toppled prematurely if no serious dialogue takes place with the participation of all stakeholders.

A sensible dialogue sooner only will enable the country to be taken to a better situation from its present plight, he explained.

Given below is the video of the full dialogue, presented by Narada Bakmeewewa.
