The Frontline Socialist Party (FSP) has called for the immediate arrest of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe based on the Batalanda Commission report, stating that President Anura Dissanayake has the authority to instruct the Criminal Investigation Department to do so.
The party’s Education Secretary, Pubudu Jayagoda, emphasized that the President can order a full investigation into the commission report and take steps to arrest the suspects.
Jayagoda made this statement while addressing a public meeting organized by the party.
