President’s London friend slam PMD officials

London-based senior journalist Uvindu Kurukulasuriya, considered a close friend of president Anura Kumara Dissanayake, has slammed President’s Media Division (PMD) officials for refusing to provide information under the Right to Information Act.

Taking to his social media handles, Kurukulasuriya charged that the PMD mainly comprised the offsprings of JVP loyalists, who address the president as uncle.

When he visited the UK as president, Dissanayake took a parcel of ‘mung kevum’ especially for Kurukulasuriya.

JVP general secretary Tilvyn Silva also met Kurukulasuriya when he toured London recently.
