Yoshitha Rajapaksa granted bail

Yoshitha Rajapaksa, the second son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, who was arrested in the Beliatta area on Saturday (25) and held in remand custody, was granted bail after being produced before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (27).

The Colombo Magistrate ordered his release on two personal bails of Rs. 50 million each.

A travel ban was also imposed on Yoshitha as part of the court’s conditions.
