Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Ajith P. Perera said that the Minister of Power and Energy has levelled the blame for the nationwide power outage on the previous government, as they do for everything.
Perera questioned what Minister Kumara Jayakody did for two months if the national grid was in such an unstable state that it could break down because of a monkey.
He inquired what measures were taken after the Minister was informed of an imbalance in the national grid for eight consecutive Sundays.
He asserted that while blaming the government for everything is possible when in opposition, it is ugly to do so when they are in power.
