NPP profits from Sarvajana Balaya’s stand

The National People’s Power (NPP) is profiting from the Sarvajana Balaya’s independent stand in several local government bodies which are without a clear winner.

The decision has allowed the NPP to secure chairmanship of Panduwas Nuwara, Minipe, Medavachchiya, Medagama and Kobeigane Pradeshiya Sabhas.

Opposition parties have raised concerns over this stand taken by Sarvajana Balaya.
