PM’s Office – Harini out – Bimal in ?

A former Western Provincial Councilor has claimed that the government is planning to change the positions of Prime Minister and the Deputy Minister of Finance.

Waruna Rajapaksa, who also serves as the SJB’s Gampaha organizer, said these changes are likely after the upcoming local government election.

He further stated that Bimal Ratnayake’s name has been proposed to replace the current Premier, Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, while a representative from the business community will likely take over the Deputy Finance portfolio.
